Coconut Oil for Dogs
I have been using Nutiva Coconut Oil for my Pitbull Mix for awhile now. I have to say that it has greatly improved her skin problems. I apply it directly on her skin in the morning and evening as well as put a teaspoon in her morning and evening food. Depending on how severe her skin problems are, depends on how often I apply the Nutiva Coconut Oil to her skin. A few times a week I also put it on the inside of her ears after I clean them and by morning time all the redness has disappeared! It’s like magic every time I use. She loves it and everytime I go to grab the jar, she’s right there patiently waiting. She’ll eat it right off the spoon, but I usually just put it in her food. If her skin has hot spots I immediately apply the Nutive Coconut Oil. The best part about applying the Nutive Coconut Oil to her skin is that it is 100% natural. I don’t have to worry about her licking it off and harming her with harsh chemicals and no cone on her head; which she hates! Since her intake of Nutiva Coconut Oil, her unpleasant body odor has disappeared. You have to try it to believe it!
