Limited Edition 2011 Nike Mag Shoe

Limited Edition 2011 Nike Mag Shoe - I’m a bit late posting about these crazy shoes being auctioned off on Ebay right now.

But I figured I would post about it anyway because all proceeds are donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

It kills me to see Michael J. Fox speaking in his video speaking about the Limited Edition 2011 Nike Mag shoes to support Parkinson’s Research, a horrible disease.

But I think it’s a great way to raise a good amount of money in a short period of time for The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Of course the average person isn’t going to be able to afford them, but it doesn’t hurt to look at them…..right?

Limited Edition 2011 Nike Mag

If you didn’t know (I can’t imagine anyone not knowing) these are the shoes that made Marty McFly famous in the “Back to the Future Part II” movie.  The only difference between the movie shoes and the ones being auctioned off is they won’t lace themselves.  Either way, people have been wanting the 2011 Nike Mag shoes for some time now…..and at a hefty price, you can have them!

2011 Nike Mag Sneaker

Nike is releasing 1500 pairs of the 2011 Nike Mag Shoe on Ebay from 9/8-9/18, 150 pairs a day.  All proceeds go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

According to many shoe collectors, this is probably the biggest thing since Michael Jordon.  I’ve read on other blogs that shoe collectors flew to Los Angeles for the unveiling of the 2011 Nike Mag sneaker on Thursday, now to me that’s crazy but I’m sure not to a serious collector.
