I started to list on Ebay again, It’s been some time now. It’s definitely changed since the last time I’ve sold anything on there.
One thing I don’t like is they took out the option to let the buyer choose “insurance” on an item they are bidding on…..what’s up with that????
After finding this out, I went snooping around Ebay to see why such a change. I don’t think it’s right especially if the item received gets damaged in shipping, not the buyer or sellers fault.
In the end, the buyer has to suck up the cost of the damaged item and give a full refund. So, I guess I will just automatically add insurance on an item I believe should have it to cover myself.
Anyway, one of the main reasons why I decided to get back to selling on Ebay was to help me pay for services my son receives and services I would like for him to receive.
You see, he was diagnosed with PDD-NOS (and a couple other things) and he sees an Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Counselor and attends a Social Skills Group. Of course there are a couple other classes/groups I’d like for him to attend, but until I come up with some extra money they will have to be put on hold.
It’s hard to keep up with the cost of these services and we have only began a few months ago. So I figured selling on Ebay again would help me out a little bit. Even if I only made enough to cover the cost of gas to get there and back would help.
If you see links on my Twitter account or Facebook account in regards to Ebay listings, now you know what it’s all about. Thanks for listening!
